Fiona Smith and Shadina Dodds joined colleagues from across the ICS at the Severn Diabetes Conference held at Shrewsbury Town Football Club on Thursday, 19 September 2024.  The day was hosted by from Dr. Probal Moulik, Consultant Endocrinologist, and the Hummingbird Team, focusing on Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, complications, obesity, and hyperlipidaemia. Attendees were able to engage with system colleagues to discuss key themes and challenges around diabetes care.

There were a series of insightful and highly valuable presentations from Dr. Probal Moulik, Ms. Nichola Beard, Miss Kate Merriman, Ms. Julia Morgan-Williams, Ms. Marie Jones, Ms. Victoria Wilkes, Dr. Anna Green, Dr. Nigel Capps, Dr. Prashant Singh, Mr. Saurav Chakravarty, Dr. Suman Jundu, and Dr. Kevin Eardley, each of which offered significant perspectives on diabetes care and management, leaving a lasting impact on all who attended.
