The Telford and Wrekin area is about to undergo a Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Inspection by Ofsted and Care Quality Commission (CQC).
Ofsted and CQC jointly inspect local area partnerships to see how well they work together to improve the experiences and outcomes of children and young people with SEND. These inspections are important as they help identify what is working well, what could be improved and inform local plans.
The inspection in Telford and Wrekin, taking place between 16 and 24 March 2023, will consider education and care services, schools, early years providers, post 16 settings and health services.
Three separate surveys have been launched for parents and carers, children and young people and practitioners to gather their views.
We really want to encourage you to complete the survey to share your views on services and support for children and young people with SEND. These surveys will allow inspectors to consider the voices of children and young people, parents and carers and practitioners to inform the outcome of the inspection.
The surveys are now open until 9am on Tuesday 14 March 2023.
