We invite you to influence the health and care services used by you, your family and friends.

We are looking for enthusiastic, willing people of different ages and backgrounds to join our online People’s Network and share views by answering surveys.

To become a member of the Network you will:

  • Need to be over 16 years old and live or work in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin
  • Be asked to complete online surveys to share your views about health and care
  • Receive updates about local developments in health and care

Become an expert by experience/patient representative: if you have experience of, or if you care for someone who uses, health or care services, and would like to work with us to help shape services, please get in touch to register your interest at stw.communications@nhs.net

Share your experience of our services with the Board: at our monthly Board meetings, we share a 'resident story' short film with our leaders from across the local health and care system. This gives them the chance to hear directly from people about their experience of services, discuss what they have heard, and what learning they can take from it. We are always on the look out for new stories, so if you have an experience you would like to share, which highlights when things went well or when they could have been better, please get in touch with us at stw.communications@nhs.net

Invite us along to your group: we regularly receive invitations to attend different community groups to listen to people's experiences and views about health and care services. If you would like a member of the engagement team to visit your group, please contact us at stw.communications@nhs.net

Follow us on social media: Follow us and engage with us through our social media channels.

Get in touch with our Patient and Liaison Service: You can contact the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) if you want more information or advice about the services we commission, you want to pay a compliment or give general views about your care or you want to make us aware of your concerns or make a complaint.
