NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, in collaboration with local cancer services and organisations, is hosting an event at Shrewsbury Town Football Club aimed at enhancing cancer care in the county.

Following the success of the same event held at Telford Football Club last November, the NHS is keen to hear from more people living in Shropshire.

This event will follow the same format as the event in Telford, to give more people across the county the opportunity to get involved in the conversation to help improve cancer care. If you attended the Telford event you do not need to attend this event. A follow-up event is planned for later in the summer to discuss the findings of these two events and provide further opportunity to assist in shaping the services.

The Understanding Your Cancer Journey event will take place at Shrewsbury Town Football Club on Thursday 20 March from 9:30am to 3.30pm.

Anybody who has received a cancer diagnosis or treatment in Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin in the last three years, or supported somebody who has, is invited to attend to share their experience and help shape future services.
