This website is managed by NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin ICB and is hosted by The Web Orchard, Ground Floor Office, Suite 1, Canon Court North 2, Abbey Lawn Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 5DE.

Disproportionate burden
At this time, we have not identified any issues that would be considered a disproportionate burden under the accessibility regulations.
Content that is not within the scope of the accessibility regulations
- PDFs and other documents: Some of our older PDFs and Word documents do not meet accessibility standards. The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they are not essential to providing our services.
- Some of our older videos do not meet accessibility standards because they do not have captions. The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix videos published before 23 September 2020. We are actively working to add captions to the most popular older videos.
- We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.
- Some parts of this site link to or use content provided by other websites and we cannot guarantee that these resources are fully accessible.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
We are actively working to improve accessibility on this website and will:
- Conduct regular accessibility audits.
- Train staff on accessibility best practices.
- Implement an accessibility roadmap to address known issues.
We have created a Digital Accessibility document that provides comprehensive guidelines for our employees on how to create, display and present content in an accessible manner. This document covers best practices for things like writing inclusive text, ensuring proper formatting, alt text, inclusive design, captions, text alternatives, colour and data tags, Easy Read formats and keyboard accessibility. It is part of our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive digital environment for all users.
