NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin has successfully appointed Dr Jane Povey, former Medical Director at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust, as its new Clinical Lead for Personalised Care.
This is a crucial role for the Integrated Care System and will drive forward the progression of patient and service user centred care.
Nick White, Chief Medical Officer at NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin (NHS STW), said: “Jane’s wealth of clinical experience and knowledge of the local communities we serve, will help us to continue to develop and provide good health care to the residents of Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin. I am personally delighted at her appointment to this role.”
Patricia Davies, Chief Executive at Shropshire Community Health NHS Trust (Shropcom), said: “Those of you who know Jane will know this is an area that she is passionate about and has a great deal of skill in.
“Jane will be missed by all of us here at Shropcom, however our organisation and patients will benefit from the work she will be leading. We will, as always, be a key partner in supporting such a critical development.
“Jane is a valued colleague who has contributed so much to our teams, board and patients over the last four years. We wish her well in her new role.”
Dr Ganesh will continue as Interim Medical Director at Shropcom.
